Our Team
Ethan Simmons

CEO
Simmons started his IT career in the early 90s, working for several leading-edge companies that provided him exposure to some of the early Internet networking technologies. In 1996, Simmons co-founded his first company, NetTeks, focusing on helping businesses adopt VoIP and virtualization solutions. In late 2008, Simmons successfully managed the acquisition of NetTeks to Dallas-based INX, Inc.
Gary Derheim

Vice President, Marketing & Business Development
Starting his career in direct sales roles in manufacturing, logistics and technology, Derheim learned consultative selling and problem solving. This led to leadership roles in Business and Product Development, responsible for crafting service logistics outsourcing contracts with major computer manufacturers such as Apple, HP and MicronPC.
Rick Pitcairn 
Vice President, Managed Services
Pitcairn is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in IT, specializing in managed services and leadership. Pitcairn began his career as an engineer, quickly climbing the ranks, learning multiple technologies while showcasing his talent and expertise to deliver successful outcomes and solutions.
Eric Ransden

Partner
Ransden started his career in IT in the financial services industry in the early 90s where he led the adoption and integration of client server computing and leading-edge networking technologies. As Manager of Technology Services, he was responsible for the corporate infrastructure, data center, network, help desk, application deployment, and corporate application services.
Mike McElaney

Partner
McElaney started his sales career in telecommunications at RCN/UltraNet in 1996, selling voice services and Internet connectivity to commercial and higher-ed clients in the Boston area. In 2002, he joined AT&T’s Enterprise sales team in Boston, where he focused on providing complex WAN and hosting solutions to Fortune 1000 clients. In 2004, with VoIP and security
Dan Lattuada 
Director, Operations
With a background in engineering and project management, Lattuada began his career in the mid-2000s as a project manager for a cloud-based unified communications provider. In 2007, he joined NetTeks, progressing to the lead of the regional PMO (after NetTeks was acquired by INX).
David Neveux, Jr. 
VP, Business Integration
With a background in Accounting and Finance, David’s career developed in the Hotel/Restaurant Management industry where he was running 12 locations in the Northeast with over 1700 employees and $55M in revenues. In 2017, David transitioned to Information Technology, leveraging his operational expertise to streamline and drive quality into technology and business operations, ultimately as the CEO of Protocol Networks, acquired by PTP in 2025. David is a graduate of Bridgewater State University.
Jishnu Mitra 
Senior Vice President, Enterprise Service & Delivery
Jishnu leads the company’s Enterprise Service-oriented culture and works closely with customers on a wide range of strategic engagements. He brings 25 years of enterprise IT experience, split between creating innovative products in Silicon Valley companies, and implementing solutions for enterprises that bet on such products. Jishnu is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur.
Our Community Involvement
Our mission is to help companies that change the world, but that change begins in our own communities with our “PTP Gives Back” efforts. Through these initiatives our teams have stocked the shelves at food banks, sorted supplies for disaster relief and adopted families to share holiday cheer.
